Are you prepared to use AI in your work? Our team has prepared our platform, for when you are ready.

Current AI strategy: IMPOWR is focused on using large language models (LLMs) with defined guardrails rather than more open-ended AI approaches such as unrestricted tool use. The goal is to maintain greater control over how AI interacts with data and users.
Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) approach: The team is exploring implementation of a model where customers can connect IMPOWR to their own AI provider credentials rather than relying solely on IMPOWR's managed model. This AI architecture is designed to support multiple model connectors over time, and provides organizations more control over security, compliance, and data governance. Note that each AI vendor's costs such as token pricing need to be well understood by the end customer.
Vendor and compliance considerations: It will be key for customers to understand how different AI providers handle Business Associate Agreements (BAAs). It is important for each customer to know their own agency AI policies and to align with data protection and compliance requirements.
Current and planned AI capabilities: A beta feature for note summarization at the tab level is available. Our team is actively working on several other use cases as well. The IMPOWR AI roadmap includes configurable prompts that allow users to select different models/APIs and define desired constraints.
