How do Case Audits work

Question:

What is Case Audit intended for? Why was it created?
Can you relate it to a client/staff member?
If not, what is the recommended other way to support these processes related to quality and process improvement?

Answer:

Case Audits can be thought of as internal audits - they are a way to gather data and trace that data through evaluation and plans. They were created for IMPOWR at the request of one of our customers and are basically the process used to audit processes or other customers. it is not exclusively related to any entity in the system.

We have a variety of ways to handle quality and process improvement. incidents and their recommendations, training/certification tracking in LMS, SOPs and their revisions, random account sampling, staff action review, etc.... it depends on what the customer wants to do with these audits.
