Can I change the name of a portal

This article will explain how to change a portal's name, as well as the portal side panel text and subtext.

• Click on Configuration in the Settings & Security section of the System menu.

• Click on Portal Types.

• Select the portal you wish to change, from the drop-down list of Portal Types.

• Once you have the portal selected, look for the "Display Name", "Side panel text", and "Side panel subtext" fields.

These fields reflect the following... (Visitor Portal displayed as an example)

Portal Button Name:

Display Name:

Side panel text:

Side panel subtext:

• Change the text in each field, as desired, and click Save Settings.

NOTE: If no display name exists, the portal will use the default name for the
Portal Button's Name and the Portal's Name.
