Quick Glossary

• Accounts – Each person has one record in the system known as an account. There are system types of accounts (e.g., staff, client, etc.).
• Data Set - Set of data that can be generated from a page
• Entity – All the data fields that are associated with a particular element (e.g., each client’s program enrollment is an entity with their start/end dates, status is associated with that entity).
• Episode – A client may enroll more than once in a program; each enrollment is considered an episode. There is a start and end date to an episode.
• Instance – The customer’s IMPOWR platform. Separate from all other customers.
• Page – A screen in your instance (e.g., client list page is the screen that shows the client list).
• Primary Key (PKey / PK) – unique entity identifier in the platform that allows customers to create references with reserve words and more.
• QCodes – AKA “question codes”; allows the system to match the same question across multiple forms.
• Reserved Words – system fields that can be used to display and automate based on data fields in other areas of the system (e.g., pulls the first name of the client on to that page).
