Announcements via Screen Popups

Once a popup is set to be shown to individuals in the instance, and you're one of the people able to receive it, going to your landing page will show the popup as soon as you load in. You can get to your landing page by logging in (it's the first page you see after logging in) or by clicking the logo in the top left.

Closing the popup will dismiss the message. Clicking the "close & show next time" button will dismiss it for now, but the next time you return to this page, or do a full refresh of this page, the popup will show again. After you've dismissed a popup, you can view it again by clicking on the envelope icon in the header. This button only shows if there are past popups that you've dismissed that are still valid to be shown, and it only shows on your landing page. Clicking the button will show a list of recently seen popups so you can revisit them if you missed something. Each item will only show on the list until its end date, then it'll disappear off the list. If an item is set to never disappear, it'll only show on the list until 3 days after the last time you viewed it, then it'll disappear off the list. Once all items disappear off the list, the envelope icon on the header will no longer be displayed.

Programs

Program Scoring

The Program Scoring menu has been relabeled to Program Insights.

Program Vacancies - Reporting

A popup window has been added to Program Vacanices, to display a few reports. Users can setup reports as a lookup list iun the popul, if they are allowed to edit vacancies. Upon clicking the Report button, the list of reports will be display and can be executed.

Projects

Project Types

A cosmetic improvement to reassign the project type has been added. When the Project Type or the Owner are selected in Edit Mode, a new popup opens allowing the user to select the project type.

Strategic Goals

A new Strategic Goal tab has been added to projects.

Staff Action Plans

Approvals

If users click on 'Signatures' in the Staff Action SAP List…they can now see who signed off on the plan and when. Those wishing to sign the plan or remove their approval signature can also do that from this link.

Audits

In the Staff section of the Staff Action Plan - Program, an agency can define whether or not the specific staff need to perform an audit of the notes, perform a spot check, or neither. When the Staff Action Summary Log is accessed... when users click on the log icon, there will be an indication if audit required or not, or if a spot check is required (it is displayed in the small italic text below the line that indicates if the notes are pending, ready for review, completed, or if action is required). To make it quicker to identify the notes that require an audit or spot check, an audit required filter has been added to the Staff Action Log.

IPOPs

IPOP icons and links to view it have been added to program- clients screen icon (the icon looks like a shield and is located in the IPOP column to the left of the TPs (Treatment Plans) icons - note that this column will only display if you have selected and saved the IPOP type in the Operations Settings panel on the Program Operations tab of the program), the staff action perform screen (the icon looks like a shield and is located to the right of the program name), and the staff action plan screen (icon looks like a shield and is located on the Plan tab, above the POMS goals).

My Staff Actions

My Staff Actions (formerly also known as My Action Kanban), which was on the Dashboard Menu, has been moved to the Engagement Menu and has been renamed to Staff Action - Work Queue. Adjacent to the program, you will now see a little magnifying lense. If you click on that, it is a link directly to the program.

Notes

A new link and page for DSP note updates has been added. The link for those notes can be found at the top of the page, within the blue bar of the Staff Action - Work Queue page. If any actions exist, a count of those actions will display.

Program Level Settings

The settings for individual staff action plans have been moved from a table level setting (default agency level settings which are set on the configuration screen for the care plan type (additional content tab)) to a program level. The settings are made in the Operations Settings panel on the Program Operations tab in the program. When set, the staff action level settings are used, but when there are no staff action level settings (default) then the program level settings will be used.

In addition to things like identifying the associated IPOP Document Type, linking to a screen so you can create the default header and footer for the printout, as well as that for the monthly report, and selecting between default and custom support requirements (where you can require things like initials, comments, prompt level, end date, and show the initials and prompt level), we have added the ability to select the default billing ruleset to this panel.

The order in how these settings will be applied is:

  • Overall default (overall default is text only. It is set on the configuration screen for Care Plan type in the "additional content" tab)
  • The Care Play type settings can be overridden by program level settings (text header/footer and checkboxes - see above for the location of these settings) [this is how most people will do it]
  • The program level settings can be overridden by SAP level (text header/footer and checkboxes) (These are set up in the Data Entry Options, the the Staff Action Plan Settings - click on the settings icon while you are in the plan.)

On a side note about these settings - if you select End Date Required, for example. In your Staff Action Plan, you will notice a little asterisk to the right of the end date. If you save your staff action plan without filling in that required field, the system will automatically populate that field with a date that is 1 year from the prior date.

Staff Action Summary

The Staff Action Summary, which was on the Dashboard Menu, has been moved to the Engagement Menu and has been renamed to Staff Action - Data Log.

The Staff Action Summary is still evolving, but will include a work queue for:
monthly reports that are due and need approval, as well as staff action plans that are expiring and need approval or need review.

The summary will ultimately consist of a Client list of clients with SAPs (Staff Action Plans), along with their programs, coverage dates, and statuses. In addition to that, features will be incorporated to identify those with coverage gaps, those due for review, those expiring soon, those where medicaid is expiring/expired, as well as other features.

The report part of this summary includes items such as a narrative, actions of staff to address challenges, individual's response, issues of concern, other comments and information, as well as signatures of the author, individual, advocate, and supervisor/reviewer. This is just the initial content of this report - additional items will continue to be added, and items may change over time.

Tagging

Tags are available on the Staff Action Plan (click on the settings icon in the Staff Action Plan settings to select), as well as on the Staff Action Perform screen. Tags can be used for a variety of purposes including things like identifying allergies, if the individual is a flight risk, etc. Tags can be used in other places of IMPOWR, as well, such as accounts or on other pages. Please review release notes and reach out to your Continual Care representative for more details.
