Release Note Summary

This Release Note Summary covers key features and changes released as of 04/23/2026.

What's New?

Applicants

  • An option to pre-fill the Program Roles has been added to the Applicant process. When setting up the program workflow there is a new option to Edit Program Role 1/2 on Applicant Conversion Wizard when converting to an account. Once selected, when an Applicant is received in IMPOWR, and you enter a requested program, those roles will display and you can pre-fill in the users for those roles. Those selections will display as the defaulted selection in the conversion to account wizard (you have the ability to change them at that time) and will display as the default program roles in the new account's program workflow.

Audit Notifications

  • Success Stories: A new Audit notification for adding, editing, and deleting Partner, Program, and Event Success Stories has been added.

Community Events

  • A link to access an event dashboard has been added to each event on the Community Events list.
  • Three new optionally displayed panels have been added to Community Events: Venue, Team, and Client Team.
  • A way to quickly edit a task and set it to completed has been added.

Course Sessions

  • Files have been added to Course Sessions.

What's Improved or Changed?

Accounts

  • If more than the maximum 25 rows exist in a grid on the Account Side Panel, a message will now display indicating there are more rows to be seen but you are seeing the maximum number of displayable rows. Users are then provided with the ability to click a link (the list icon) to see the full list (assuming you have been granted the appropriate privileges). The only panel without a row limit is 'Program Engagements'.
  • The Account Profile and the Account Review now list out all races instead of just a count of the number selected.
  • The Similar Name Check now has some additional options:
    • "First name metaphone"
    • "First name metaphone and Last name metaphone"
    • Warnings for missing sex, gender, state, last name metaphone, and first name metaphone

Chat

  • Chat functionality has been retired and is no longer available in IMPOWR.

Community Events

  • A Community Event used as a template can now only be changed if the user has been granted the new 'Can Edit Template Community Events privilege.
  • Community Event templates are now clearly identified as a template and their name is displayed with a background color in the Community Events list to distinguish them from other Community Events.

Forms

  • An option to make chooser questions on forms required, has been added.

Registration Portal

  • When using Version 2 of the Registration Portal, users can now choose to create new student accounts with a user defined type rather than always create the new accounts as Clients.
  • Existing Account searches now look at only staff, only clients, or any account type. Account matches look at:
    • Lastname/firstname and selected authorization fields (defaults like Zip Code, DOB, MRN, Account ID, or Email Address)
    • Lastname/firstname only
    • Email address only
    • Either lastname/firstname or email address

Residential Calendar

  • The "Summary by client" and "Itemized by episode" reports on the Residential Calendar are no longer limited to just enrolled accounts. If an account completed the program during the month, their records will continue to show on the report at the end of the month.

Services

  • When tracking time spent on a Service, the Service Duration is now configurable in the Service Inventory. Users can select from None, List (allows you to only choose from the list of times currently available), or Exact (allows you to enter any time).
  • When importing services, some additional attributes have been added: Activity Date, Comment, Duration, Logged on Date, and Status.

Bugs and Cosmetic Changes

Bugs

  • The following bugs were fixed:
    • None at this time.

Cosmetic Changes

  • The following cosmetic changes have been made:
    • When going through the intake process, a duplicate name check occurs - if an existing account is identified, to avoid users from thinking the new data will merge with the existing data, the message now clarifies that changes on the current intake form will be lost, and nothing on the chosen existing account will be overwritten.
    • The Sender on Secure Messages has been renamed as the 'From' individual; the Recipient has been renamed as the 'To' individual.
