How do Account Consents work

A Consent is considered as Active when:

1. Date is between effective date and expiration date (or End of Life if no expiration date)
2. Approved (if approval is required)
3. The person is not deceased

Consent is handled a little differently than some other things in that with Consents, being Active/Inactive is not a status. Instead, it is determined automatically based on:

• Effective date
• Expiration date (or never expires)
• Approval
