How can I periodically save my Helpline Call Log

If you've been on a call with a caller for a long time, you might want to periodically save your helpline call log so you don't run the risk of losing any of your notes.
In the past, if you've tried to click on Apply to save the call, you would have received a message that you need to set a call outcome in order to save your entries. There is a way to save your calls without setting that outcome (it is recommended that this be set up for your instance prior to the calls being received):
- In the Helplines settings, under Configuation Options, change the setting: Helpline Direct Call - Outcome required for Apply to No.
- Save your changes.
That is all that is needed - when you click on Apply, the system will save your entries without prompting you to enter a call outcome. BUT, when you want to end the call an you click on Save, the system WILL not allow you to save the screen until you enter the call outcome.
If you do not make the Helpline Direct Call - Outcome required for Apply change, any time you click on Apply or Save, the system will prompt you to enter the call outcome.
