A user asked the following question...
Some individuals are in two different programs during the day. For example, they go to one program (we will call this program "AAA") in the morning from 9 am-11 am, then to a second program (we will call this program "BBB") from 11:30 am-3 pm. If we document supports for each program, will the billing system add those supports to see two supports for the day if they do one in program "AAA" and one in program "BBB"?
Following the same example as above. How is the time added for billing? In attendance, we have both programs "AAA" and "BBB", where there is one SAP they document on, but this creates three places the staff will need to go to for a program to take attendance in the sessions. Will it take the time logged for program "AAA" and then add the time for program "BBB" together?
How does it know what program to give the revenue to?
Here is the response they were provided with...
The answer to your question is that IMPOWR and Propel are both Program based, so everything ties back to that.
Attendance is per Program Session and supports are per SAP which is also per Program.
If a person had 2 supports and spent two hours in program "AAA" in the afternoon, they will get billed for that time per program "AAA" rules.
If a person then goes to program "BBB" and had 2 supports and spends two hours in program "BBB"in the afternoon, they will get billed for that time per program "BBB" rules.
On the Billing opportunities screen you will see two rows.
The only time we look across programs is to check for overlaps. If the data shows the times in program "AAA" and program "BBB" overlap, then on the billing opportunities screen, both rows will indicate “overlap”. And, assuming the rules are set to not allow overlap – then those should come up as “needing review”.
