What is the difference between the Apply and the Save buttons

This article will explain the difference between the Apply and the Save buttons.

Both Apply and Save buttons do the same thing. They both save the item you created or the entries you have made on the page. But they are different in how they do that saving.

• When you click Apply, your entries are saved, but you remain on the same screen. You can think of this as a temporary saving of your entries. Temporary until you click Save.
• When you click Save, your entries are saved, but you are exited from the screen you were on.

Both entries will save your data – the differences are what happens after you click that button.
