How do I unlock a user's account

This article will tell you how to access a staff member's account and unlock the account.
NOTE: In order to Unlock a Staff Member’s account, the person who wishes to
Unlock the account must have the System Administrator role, AND the account
needing to be Unlocked must be visible and editable to that Administrator.
For the purposes of this document, we will assume the System Administrator is
the person who wishes to Unlock another Staff Member’s account.
Access the Staff Member’s Account
In order to unlock the account, the System Administrator will need to first
access the Staff Member’s account:
- Login to your imPowr website.
- Go to the Engagement menu
- Click on Accounts in the People section
- Select your Staff Member’s name from the drop-down list of Accounts:

- Click on **Edit **to view the control to Unlock/Reset accounts:
Click on the Lockout button:
A window will open which will confirm whether or not the individual is locked out of IMPOWR and for what reason they may be locked out (if you see a checkmark by the "Account is locked out", it means they are locked out):
Unlock/Reset the Account
- Remove the checkmark by the "Account is locked out':
Save the change.
When do this, you are presented with the following pop-up window:
Click on “OK” to unlock your Staff Member’s account.
Be sure to save the account to save your changes.
Notify your Staff Member of the reset and ask them to try to access the account again.
